Wondering where to eat in Sedona, AZ? Sedona has some of the best food I’ve ever had. TBH, my expectations weren’t very high since this is a big tourist destination. But boy, Sedona did not disappoint!
In this post, I’ll show you everywhere we ate and my thoughts on the restaurants!
Pro tip: if you have specific restaurants you want to go to, especially popular ones, make reservations in advance.
I completely dropped the ball on this and tried to book some places a week ahead of time and they were all booked out [for dinner.]

We stopped here before our Pink Jeep Tour for a quick lunch. We sat outside on the patio and, like many restaurants in Sedona, the views were stunning! I ordered the Steak and Noodle Salad. This meal was huge and could definitely be split with someone else.
Don Diego Mexican Cuisine

This was our dinner spot after the Pink Jeep Tour, as it was right down the street from where we were picked up and dropped off. The food was fresh and the margaritas were amazing! Bonus: they’re dog-friendly AND have a dog menu. I ordered some chicken and apples to take back to Asher. He loved it!
Sedonuts
Price – $

Donuts. Need I say more? ???? We had to check out Sedonuts and we were not disappointed! They’re a locally-owned donut shop and everything was so fresh and tasty. The line is known to get long here so we got there pretty early and had no problem ordering what we wanted. Our order: Mini Vortex, Blueberry Lemon, Red Rock Glazed, Cinnamon and Sugar Pumpkin (seasonal), Maple Bacon, and Glazed Old Fashion.
They offer gluten-free donuts as well!
The Hudson

This was a game-time lunch decision by my husband and it did not disappoint. We split the calamari appetizer and I got the Open-Face Turkey Sandwich for my entree. Let me tell you…this was.the.best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. It is so simple but it was delicious!
Salt Rock Kitchen
Price – $$$

We made dinner reservations ahead of time for Salt Rock Kitchen. The restaurant is located in the Amara Resort and Spa. They do valet but there are also places to park yourself. I ordered the Botanical Bee, off their signature cocktail list, and then the 8oz filet for my entree, which came with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. And for dessert, we split the spice cake!
Their patio also has heaters and blankets for colder weather.
Mariposa
Price – $$$

If you can get a reservation here for lunch or dinner – DO IT! Mariposa is one of the most popular restaurants in Sedona. Mariposa is also ranked in the 100 most romantic restaurants (oh la la!) by Open Table. As I mentioned before, I dropped the ball on getting a dinner reservation but we were able to get in for lunch and it was still just as amazing.
I got a mango skinny margarita and then the Pollo Parilla with butter beans vinaigrette for my entree. David and I also split the Yucca Fries and the sauce they came with was to die for!
Pisa Lisa
Price – $$
Check out the menu here.
Pisa Lisa has two locations: West Sedona and Village of Oak Creek. You aren’t able to make reservations here – it’s first come first serve. David and I got food from here on our last night, after a long day of hiking, so we decided to just place a to-go order instead of eating inside.
I’m a thin crust pizza fan so I thought it was great!
Our order: Da Bambini and the Justino
